Target Lot Gulls

the flight of the seagulls over the Target parking lot
is epic
and the sqeakings of the ruling elite
that I read and hear about
seem so minor
compared to the sun on their wings
white low light from the fall sun
a large flying nestus
the moment is perfect and delicate
the talking ladies missed it
and now as I look out, the sun is clouded over
the birds gone
people are bringing bags to their cars
our host star graciously allowing
the day to proceed
